Acres of Love raises all funds from the private sector and relies upon contributions from individual donors, non-profit organizations and businesses as its primary source of financial support. The Acres of Love Annual Golf Day provides a simple platform to hear about the amazing and effective work that Acres of Love is doing and to participate in being part of the solution to the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

In the Golf Day model, approximately 30 golfers and several “virtual golfers” will approach their friends, family members and business associates and ask them to sponsor them as they play in the event. We have found that, rather than rallying to a faceless cause, “people support people”, so in this method of raising funds, there is a very high response rate.

There are many wonderful Acres of Love support groups around the country and in other parts of the world who will each be raising funds and sending golfers to come together in support of Acres of Love as they rescue and nurture vulnerable infants and children in South Africa.
