Acres of Love acknowledges The Masters Program for the initiation of the Nkosinati  Forever Home and The Legacy Families of Santa Barbara for their ongoing commitment to support this home.

The Masters Program is an executive leadership program founded by Bob Shank (Chief Mentoring Officer) that hosts classes in different locations across the U.S. (www.mastersprogram.org). The program encourages leaders to get involved in activities that will change the world in their sphere of influence. 

In 2005, several graduates of the program who are involved in an alumni gathering called The Barnabas Group made a sizable contribution towards the purchase of an Acres of Love Forever Home. Just recently some additional funding came in from other Masters Program participants that has now made it possible to purchase the newest Forever Home. This is the essence of the Masters goal – to reach out and impact those who have been marginalized by circumstances beyond their control. The Nkosinati Forever Home is a testimony of the effectiveness of what Bob & Cheri Shank have invested into the lives of caring leaders across the U.S.

There is now the ability for Acres of Love to rescue and care for many more children who are the true victims of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in South Africa. Thank you Masters Program and Barnabas Group members for giving so generously to make this happen!
